Sharing is caring!

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 20, and running through Tuesday, Oct. 4, fall volunteer training for LACASA Center will take place at the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton.

LACASA’s volunteer training program covers complex issues surrounding child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Due to the sensitive nature of the programs LACASA provides for victims and survivors of abuse, individuals who want to become direct service volunteers are required to complete this comprehensive training program, as are all new LACASA staff members & interns.

Training sessions are a combination of weeknights and Saturdays. Weeknight sessions are from 6–9 p.m., and Saturday sessions are from 9 a.m. to 4p.m.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. To register, or to learn more, visit lacasacenter.org or contact Caroline Arbour, volunteer coordinator, at (517) 302-2518 or volunteering@lacasacenter.org.
