Trisha Patrias has joined Explore Brighton Howell Area (also known as Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau) as its digital marketing and content manager. In her position, Patiras will represent the county’s travel marketing brand with photos, videos, social media content, ads, blogs, partnerships with Pure Michigan, information on explorebrightonhowellarea.com, and more.
“We are so thrilled to have such a skilled marketer who is truly passionate about the area join the Explore Brighton Howell Area team,” said Mary Robinson, executive director of EBHA. “Marketing the county as a destination is at the core of everything we do. We are a small team, so we rely on our staff to be skilled, resourceful, and passionate about marketing the area. Along with our board of directors and hiring team, I knew Trisha Patrias was the perfect candidate to take our destination to the next level.”

A Cleary University graduate and longtime resident of Howell, Patrias is eager to work in her hometown with Explore Brighton Howell Area.
“The most rewarding part of working with my hometown is being able to spread awareness and share my excitement about all the area offers,” said Patrias, who has worked in the marketing and media space for over seven years, including as the Student Marketing Assistant for Cleary University’s marketing department and associate producer at iHeartMedia.
She has also worked in the tourism and hospitality industry with nationally known organizations such as Pure Michigan, Discover Puerto Rico, Pictured Rocks Cruises & Kayaks, Discover Kalamazoo, Travel Marquette, and more.
“Since I became the executive director in 2017, I am very proud of the work we have done as a team and a community,” said Robinson, citing the strategic planning, rebranding, and enhanced digital presence. “As a whole, the travel industry is still recovering from the impacts of the pandemic. Not to mention, gas prices are causing visitors to want to stay closer to home. Our county offers the ‘Up North feel’ without the long drive. Although we recognize the struggles facing our industry, our organization has decided to turn these challenges into opportunities. With Trisha on our team, I am confident in the growth our community can experience as a destination.”
