
Tina Bruce of Howell as been hired as the Howell Nature Center’s new chief executive officer. Bruce had been serving as the center’s interim CEO since November 2022, a role into which she transitioned after serving as the center’s director of human resources and finances since January 2022.
“With Tina’s appointment, we are confident that the role of CEO is filled by a person who possesses a robust and full skill set to position the Howell Nature Center for optimal visitor experiences, while maintaining excellence in wildlife rehabilitation services,” said Rhett B. Rowe, chair of the nature center’s board. “The organization, led by Tina and her executive leadership team, is no position to fully lever all facets of the 230-acre facility.”
Prior to joining the Howell Nature Center, Bruce served as vice president of finance at Spaulding for Children in Southfield. Bruce has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, as well as a master’s degree in public accounting from Cleary University.
