Also moving on to the second round is Brighton High School after winning over West Bloomfield 25-7.
The scores for Livingston County’s teams in the opening- round games of the Michigan high school playoffs were:

BRIGHTON 25, West Bloomfield 7
Detroit Catholic Central 35, HARTLAND 7
Chelsea 42, FOWLERVILLE 14
