
Kelly A. Myers of Myers & Myers in Howell has been named one of Michigan’s “Influential Women of Law” for 2024.
The Influential Woman of Law award “honors women attorneys and judges for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities, and their service to the profession.”
Myers encompasses each aspect of this award. In 2024 alone, she served on multiple boards and committees that serve to improve and innovate both the legal system and the community, including serving as chairperson of the Michigan Land Title Standards Committee; board of directors of Fentura Financial Inc. and The State Bank; co-chair of the Trinity Health Livingston Hospital “Forging Our Future” campaign cabinet; board member of the Livingston Arts Council; and member of the State of Michigan Real Property Council.
Myers earned a bachelor’s degree from Alma College, a juris doctorate from the University of Detroit School of Law, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Detroit.
In 2004, she established Myers & Myers, a law firm that offers legal services in the areas of real estate transactions, commercial litigation, corporate law, creditor rights, and landlord/tenant matters. The firm is located in the historic McPherson Mansion in Howell, less than a mile from the city’s historic downtown.
