Sharing is caring!

Did you know that an overwhelming number of Americans report that politics negatively affects family relationships?  It doesn’t have to. You don’t need to dread the upcoming holidays simply because dinner conversation turns to topics surrounding divisive politics.

Preserve important family bonds while still being true to your values and political beliefs: this free, in-person workshop hosted by the Howell Carnegie District Library, 314 W. Grand River Ave. in downtown Howell, from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, will provide strategies and skills for handling family political differences in a constructive way.

Space is limited, REGISTER TODAY: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/families-and-politics-mi-statehowell-carnegie-public-library-registration-699291318157

The Families and Politics workshop will provide:

  • Insight into why family differences over politics are uniquely challenging
  • Recognition of common roles that family members play in political conversations
  • Strategies and skills for handling family political differences in a constructive way
It’s all delivered in a fun and friendly way by Maggie Bayless, founder of ZingTrain, the famous Zingerman’s of Ann Arbor training business.
