Pumpkin carvers, sharpen your knives: The Historic Howell Theater is on the Halloween hunt for the best carved movie-themed pumpkins. The top three entries will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Historic Howell Theater, good for any public movie admission or purchase at the concession stand.
Anyone can enter. There is no limit as to age or skill level. Judges are looking for pumpkins carved into anything having to do with movies, such as famous movie characters, scenes, quotes or titles. Entries are limited to two per person.
To submit your entry, tag the theater on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #HHTPumpkinContest, or email your entry to Tyler@HistoricHowellTheater.com with the subject line PUMPKIN CONTEST.
By tagging or emailing your pumpkin carving photo, you give permission to the Historic Howell Theater to showcase your name and photo entry on its social media, HHT newsletter, and contest promotional materials.
Winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 31, on all of the theater’s social media channels.
