Michigan high school seniors are eligible for direct admission to Cleary University. No applications and no essays are required for admission. Cleary has eliminated the tedious admission process and moves students directly to enrollment steps.

Through Cleary Direct Connect, students who meet Cleary’s eligibility requirements automatically are admitted to the university.

“We are excited to offer Direct Connect to all Michigan graduating high school seniors so they can continue their education and simplify the college admission process at the same time,” said Jeremy Walker, chief operating officer who oversees enrollment management services at Cleary. “Applying to a college can be a stressful experience, and our goal is to minimize that anxiety by moving right ahead to a direct admission and enrollment.”

To attend Cleary, eligible students throughout Michigan no longer will be required to complete an application and wait and worry for an acceptance letter.

“Sometimes students don’t even apply because they think they won’t get in,” Walker said. “Cleary has eliminated the application process barriers as well as application fees. “In addition to providing faster access to an education from a top business school in the country, students can relax and enjoy their future academic journey, knowing they are going to great college and looking forward to that experience.”

Walker said the Cleary Admissions team will work alongside all students, preparing each one personally for the next step in their education, and helping eligible students secure financial aid and other scholarships.

Students must meet certain academic requirements to waive the admission process, Walker said. To be eligible for direct admission at Cleary, students must live in Michigan and meet the university’s minimum requirements. It’s that simple. Students won’t need to obtain letters of recommendation, write an essay or complete a lengthy application form.

“On an average, college applications can cost between $50 to $90 each, and students often apply to many colleges. Direct Connect eliminates the application cost, which is another added benefit for students who don’t have a lot of financial resources to apply to several colleges,” Walker said. “And we’ve shortened the wait time to hear back regarding college acceptance.

“Our goal is to make the college experience enriching, rewarding, affordable and enjoyable, and with Cleary Direct Connect, we can make this happen for our students.”

Cleary also awards approximately $10 million in student scholarships every year. Almost 100 percent of first time, full-time Cleary students receive institutional aid, averaging more than $10,500 per student.

To find out more about Cleary Direct Connect, visit cleary.edu/admissions, call the university at 800.686.1883 or send an email to admissions@cleary.edu. An admissions representative will explain the process and how easy it will be for prospective students.

Cleary also offers the Cougar Country Promise scholarship, a discounted (or free) rate on tuition for Michigan residents. This program simplifies college expenses for Cleary students based on FAFSA and scholarship eligibility. For example, students who qualify for the Michigan Achievement Scholarship with a negative or zero Student Aid Index (SAI) get free tuition.

To learn more about the Cleary Country Promise scholarship and how Michigan students can receive a reduced tuition rate, call Cleary at (800) 686-1883, or send an email to admissions@cleary.edu.

Students who visit the Cleary University campus for an in-person tour automatically receive a $500 scholarship if they enroll in the upcoming semester.
