Hartland chamber director resigns

Katie Chuba, executive director of the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce since 2016, announced her resignation from the business organization in a letter to its members dated May 13, 2022.

Chuba said her resignation is effective June 1.

“It has been a pleasure and an honor to lead the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce and work with amazing members, committees, volunteers, and community partners,” Chuba wrote. “I am proud to be a part of a strong business organization that has allowed me to grow professionally and work alongside people who are passionate about the success of their own businesses and others.”

Chuba went on to thank the membership for providing her a rewarding learning experience during her tenure at the Hartland chamber.

“Thank you for your continued dedication to the Chamber and thank you for your continued friendship,” Chuba said.

While her resignation is effective June 1, Chuba said she will stay on to assist with the Hartland Polo Classic on June 18 at the new Detroit Polo Club.
