With the Hartland girls team in Thursday’s KLAA girls basketball title game, the Eagles boys squad will aim to punch its ticket into the boys tournament tonight.
Hartland (13-4 overall, 10-3 KLAA West) can clinch the No. 2 seed in the KLAA West with a win tonight at home against Northville (10-7, 7-6). The Eagles will be doing some scoreboard watching as Howell plays host to Canton, which is unbeaten in the division.
Hartland and Howell are tied for second with 10-3 division records.
The game will be broadcast on The Livingston Post at about 6:50 p.m. Click here for the link!
If both Hartland and Howell win or lose, Hartland would earn the No. 2 seed and play at Belleville on Friday night. The only way Howell gets in is if the Highlanders win and Hartland loses tonight.
Northville has already clinched the No. 4 seed despite being only a game ahead of Brighton in the standings, Should Northville lose and Brighton win, they would be tied at 7-7 in the division, but Northville would have the higher seed due to sweeping the season series with the Bulldogs.
The Eagles have won seven of eight, including a one-point win over Northville on Jan. 25 and a triple-overtime win over Brighton two weeks ago.
