After expenses, $50,000 was raised from Magic On The Farm last weekend. This means we are close to having enough money to purchase 2 cows per month and distribute between 900-1,000 pounds of hamburger to our local food pantries every month. How cool is that?!

These funds will be utilized throughout the year and will allow us to distribute to these local pantries:

• Bountiful Harvest Food Bank, Brighton

• LACASA Center
• Howell
SonRise Food Pantry
• Howell
Family Impact Center, Fowlerville

• St. Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry, Howell

• Active Faith, South Lyon

• Torch 180, Fowlerville

• The Salvation Army, Howell

• The Youth Connection Services, Howell

The Event

There was so much happening at these events on Saturday and Sunday it is hard to describe just what happened. Magic, circus performers, a game show, curiosities, art gallery, magic silo, Moogician, Lance Burton, a misty rain, prizes, umbrellas, laughter, camaraderie, great food, good friends, and just plain fun. If you speak to someone who attended, they’ll be hard pressed to tell you which part of the event was their favorite. It was just that “magical” of an evening.

Thank you to so many who allowed this to happen.

A special thank you to artist Susan Pominville for her talent and dedication to this event. Her “MAGIC” painting was spectacular. Her use of the barn as an art gallery was spectacular. Thank you.

A giant thank you to the producer of the show, Tim Wise. He did such an outstanding job with coordinating all of the performers and entertaining us with the Keep It Or Trade It game show.

And finally, our magicians: Meadow Perry, John LaChance, Todd Charles, Keith West, and of course, the Master Magician, Lance Burton, who was so gracious with his time. We can’t thank him enough. Thank you.

What’s happening next? Well, I don’t know yet, but whatever it is, it will be fun.

If you didn’t attend and would still like to contribute to the cause, click here.

Thank you all and we’ll keep you posted throughout the year as to the distributions of healthy beef protein to our local families in need.

Also, we still have “MAGIC” 18×24 prints available and signed by Lance Burton; click here to purchase.
