After just 15 months, Grand River Brewery at 201 W. Main St. in downtown Brighton has closed its doors.

Despite the closure of the Brighton location, the brewery will still operate at its locations in Jackson, Clawson and Marshall.

“We hate goodbyes, so see ya next time, Brighton,” a representative for Grand River Brewery said in a release. “Thank you, Brighton, for welcoming us with open arms. You’ll always be part of the Grand River Brewery family.”

The brewery opened in July 2024 in the former Ginopolis site.
