
Adam Lach of Howell, director of the design and construction division within the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, has been appointed as a government representative to Michigan’s Joint Procurement Cooperation Council. His term begins March 20, 2025, and expires on July 25, 2026.
Lach is a licensed architect with over 24 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
Signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Ontario Premier Doug Ford in 2023, the Economic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding establishes mutual economic priorities and, among other actions, creates the Joint Procurement Cooperation Council. The broader goal is to promote bilateral trade, bolster infrastructure, and strengthen partnerships between private sector companies in Michigan and Canada. Through the Council, Michigan and Canada can explore and advance economic opportunities in their government procurement markets.
