Gov. Gretchen Whitmer officially opened the Livingston County Democrats’ local One Campaign office on Friday.

Whitmer spoke to the standing-room-only crowd and welcomed some of the local Democrats running for office. Some of the candidates on hand included Austin Brewer, who is running for the 50th District state House seat; Elizabeth Hauptman, who is running for the 8th District seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners; Bob Sexton, who is running for the 7th District seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners; and Andy Wood, who is running for the 49th District state House seat; as well as incumbent 48th District state Rep. Jennifer Conlin.

The One Campaign office will run the on-the-ground operations for statewide races in Michigan, including the Biden-Harris and U.S. Senate races.
