Friends of Cromaine Library winter book/bake sale runs Jan. 30 to Feb. 1

Cromaine’s Third Floor Community Room will be filled to the brim with books for the Friends Winter Book & Bake Sale.

The Friends of Cromaine District Library annual Winter Book & Bake Sale: is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, through Saturday, Feb. 1.

The sale takes place in the Community Room on the third floor of the Cromaine District Library, 3688 N. Hartland Road in the Village of Hartland. Thousands of gently used books and delicious baked goods will be on sale, while supplies last. Saturday is bag sale day: bring a bag to fill for just $5. Cash and checks can be accepted for payment.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, all remaining items from the Friends Book Sale in the Community Room are free for one hour, from noon to 1 p.m. Bring your own bags and boxes.

The next meeting of the Friends of the Cromaine Library, a “Friend-Ly Gathering,” is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Community Room. Prospective members are invited to attend and learn more about how they can get involved in efforts to support the library.
