Former County Administrator Nathan Burd, whose last day was Sept. 1, when he headed west to a job in Texas, is returning to Livingston County. We wrote about his departure here.
The official announcement of Burd’s return is expected at Monday’s meeting of the Livingston County Board of Commissioners.
Burd, known as a skilled and talented administrator during his time in Livingston County, has not yet responded to our request for more information regarding his return; however, the news was confirmed by a high-ranking county official.
There are no details yet about Burd’s return; however, there is a resolution on the agenda for Monday’s meeting of the Livingston County Board of Commissioners for “Suspending the Search Process Authorized in Resolution 2023-08-145 and
to Approve, with Conditions, Appointment of County Administrator.”
Cindy Arbanas, Livingston County’s chief financial officer/deputy county administrator, has been seeing as interim county administrator since Burd’s departure.
We will update this story as more information becomes available.
NOTE: This post was updated to include the resolution on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners’ agenda for its Nov. 13 meeting.
