Stroll Oak Pointe Magazine’s inaugural fashion show — set for 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Oak Pointe Country Club, 4500 Club Drive in Brighton — will benefit LACASA Center.

The event will showcase the latest trends and local fashion, featuring coral Sash, Brass +  Oak, Sunny’s On The Corner, seasonal collections from these local boutiques (including LACASA Collection’s charity resale boutique). Attendees will enjoy a bar, light appetizers, live music, pop-up boutiques and permanent jewelry.

All proceeds from the event will directly support LACASA Center’s vital programs and services for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence in Livingston County.

“We are thrilled to bring the community together for an afternoon of  elegance and purpose,” said Stroll Magazine Publisher Christel Meyer. “Our goal is not only to celebrate fashion but also to shine a spotlight on the incredible work of LACASA and provide meaningful support for their crucial services. We believe in strengthening our community through both connection and contribution.”

LACASA, a cornerstone of support in Livingston County for over 40 years, provides comprehensive and essential services, including emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling and legal advocacy for survivors of interpersonal violence, as well as countywide prevention and education programs. Faced with increasing demand and shrinking state and federal funding, events like the Stroll Oak Pointe Magazine fashion show are more critical than ever.

“The funds raised will directly impact our ability to provide a path to safety, healing, and independence for the most vulnerable members of our community,” said LACASA President and CEO Bobette Schrandt. “This collaboration is a beautiful example of how local partnerships can create profound positive change.'”

Tickets for the event are $50 and include one drink ticket and light hors d’oeuvres., the fashion show, and access to the pop-up boutiques for the personalized fun shopping experience.
