Two Livingston County teams won hockey state championships on the same day for the first time on Saturday.
Now, Brighton and Hartland have been amply represented on all-state teams.
The squads, selected by the coaches’ association, have four Brighton players on the Division 1 first team, and four Hartland players on the Division 2 first team.
In Division 1, Sam Brennan, Adam Conquest, Tim Erkkila, and Mathew Kahra were named to the first team. Goalie Robert Pegrum was named to the second team and Will Jentz was honorable mention.
Howell’s Graham Hassan made the second team and Dominic Rossi was honorable mention.

In Division 2, Josh Albring, Jake Behnke, Joey Larson and Brett Tome were first-team selections, while Jake DeYoung was named to the second team.
Brighton and Hartland both won state championships on Saturday. It was Brighton’s second in a row and fourth in seven years, while it was Hartland’s first overall.
The all-division Dream Team and Mr. Hockey will be announced at the annual coaches association banquet on Sunday.
