In response to the white supremacist rally in downtown Brighton on Saturday, Aug. 17, the CUUB sanctuary will be open for prayer, meditation, hymns and mutual support. The lobby will also be open for political networking & action planning. Voter registration materials will be available. This event aims to bring together people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate unity, promote understanding, and stand united against hate and discrimination.

As a congregation committed to honoring the inherent worth and dignity of every person, CUUB believes in the power of community to create a more just and equitable world. The interfaith gathering will provide a space for participants to connect, share their experiences, and engage in prayer, meditation, and mutual support.
