A Cruise for Caregivers tribute parade is set for 2:15-4 p.m. Wednesday, June 17.
The Brighton Chapter of the Vintage Motor Car Club of America (VMCCA) is leading other area vintage and classic car clubs (Classic Legends, Livingston A’s and Water Wonderland Thunderbird Club) for a slow tribute cruise past St. Joseph Mercy Health Brighton (Woodland), IHA Medical Genoa ,and SJMHS Livingston Hospital in Howell. Healthcare workers will step outside to enjoy dozens of vintage and classic cars pass by their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic are saluted.
The cruise begins at 2:30 p.m. from the staging area in the parking lot at the Brighton Meijer, and then proceeds to the SJMHS and IHA buildings, then on along Grand River Ave. to SJMHS Livingston Hospital in Howell.
