Well, that didn’t take long.

Two months after the popular Ginopolis Bar-BQ Smokehouse at 201 W. Main St. in downtown Brighton became Cowgirls Country Bar & Grill on the first floor and a comedy club with a suggestive name — G-spot Down Under — in the basement, it’s back to Ginopolis Bar-BQ.

The official day for reverting back to its original self is Wednesday.

The announcement was made on Facebook.

“These past couple of months sure have been a whirlwind for us and the Brighton community. New roads, new businesses, and questionable name changes,” the announcement read. “Nevertheless, our core values and goals as a family-run business since 1979 hold true: produce great food, give unbeatable service, and create memories that last a lifetime.

“…Let’s get back to being that place.”

Ginopolis’ post said it will continue its line dancing classes and open dance floor nights “as scheduled.”

“We love the late night fun we’ve been having and have no plans to stop.”
There was no mention of what will become of the G-spot Down Under.
