Livingston County’s first Pride Prom, hosted by Queer Families of Livingston County, is set for 7-10 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the Howell Opera House, 123 W. Grand River Ave.
The event — for ages 14-19 who identify in the queer community, or are strong allies — are invited to celebrate Pride Month with dancing, crafts, prizes and more. Tickets are required, and are on sale for $15 each (with processing fees added, if applicable) by clicking here, at Venmo@gflivco or PayPal at qflivco@gmail.com.
Just before the prom, Connections Youth Services is hosting a pre-party at its main office at 616 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell. Anyone attending can use the private rooms to get dressed and ready for the Pride Prom. Multiple staff will be on hand to help with makeup applications/adjustments, hair styling, nails, etc. There will also be snacks and games.
While not required, RSVPs are appreciated by clicking here.
