In Livingston County’s hottest primary race, Livingston County Circuit Court Judge David Reader is maintaining a commanding lead over Livingston County Prosecutor William Vailliencourt.
At about 10 p.m., and with over 60 percent of county precincts reporting, Reader has nearly 70 percent of the 24,000 votes cast in the race for prosecutor.
Reader had out-raised Vailliencourt, reporting a total of $105,371 raised, including $65,000 of his own money. Vailliencourt raised just $20,430.
The winner takes on Democrat Ragan Lake in the fall.
