The Livingston County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) has hired Mary Zucchero as its new executive director. Zucchero will be responsible for the overall operations at the LCCVB and the fulfillment of its mission.

“We are very pleased to have Mary Zucchero at the helm of the CVB. Mary is a highly-credentialed individual that brings with her years of industry experience and expertise, said Kristy Ellis, Chair of the LCCVB Board of Directors. “She is one of only three executives in Michigan that has achieved the designation of a Certified Destination Marketing Executive.”

Zucchero received her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management with a minor in business management from Grand Valley State University. She previously worked as business engagement director for the Ann Arbor Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, and vice president of sales and director of sales and business services for the Ypsilanti Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The LCCVB is the official authority for visitor information regarding area attractions, shopping, recreation, events, arts culture and accommodations.
