Megan Palmer

The fifth-annual “Passion for Prevention” golf outing of the The Livingston County Community Alliance (LCCA) is set for Aug. 6, 2022, at Chemung Hills Golf Club in Howell. The purpose of the outing — this year honoring the memory of Megan Palmer — is to raise funds for substance abuse awareness activities in Livingston County, and is looking for  sponsorships and donations such as (but not limited to): hole and game sponsorship(s), raffle ticket prizes, food donations, water, etc.

Palmer was Livingston County’s substance abuse prevention coordinator; she died early this year. You can read about her by clicking here.

Proceeds raised by the event will be used to fund local youth-oriented substance abuse prevention awareness campaigns or similar activities. Your donation is not only tax deductible, but 100% of those dollars will support LCCA substance abuse prevention programs and services.
