Cleary University will celebrate its annual homecoming with a tailgate party from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, on its Howell campus, 3750 Cleary Drive (off Grand River Avenue and west of Latson Road).

The event features fun for everyone, including Clancy’s Taproom, with complimentary tailgate appetizers and refreshments, in addition to a cash bar. There will be a fire pit on the patio of Cleary Commons, where you can enjoy food, music and conversations with Cleary alumni, students, parents and families, as well as Cleary athletes.

A bounce house and games will keep kids entertained for the entire afternoon.

Cleary alumni are invited to check in at the alumni table, pick up some free swag, and reconnect with fellow alumni.

Following the homecoming party, tailgaters are welcome to stay and cheer on the Cleary Cougars women’s and men’s soccer teams who will play at Lake Trust Stadium on Cleary’s campus. Cleary will face the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The women compete at 4 p.m., and the men will begin play at 7 pm. Admission is free to all tailgaters.
