Looking for a totally unique event to enjoy in Livingston County? Try Bubbles & Bach and sip an adult beverage while listening to live classical music in an intimate and uniquely illuminated setting.
The collaboration between 2 Stones Events and the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce will be held at Crystal Gardens on Friday, Dec. 16.
“This will be like nothing you’ve seen — or heard — in this area before,” said Whitney McClellan-Stone, president of 2 Stones Events. “It’s our unique twist on ‘candlelight concerts,’ but you don’t have to drive to Detroit to experience it.”
The popular local venue, situated between the cities of Brighton and Howell, features a variety of larger spaces, but it’s the intimate Celebrity Showroom that was chosen for this special event. Of course, champagne, wine, beer, and cocktails will all be available for purchase.
The evening will include two separate concerts — an early show at 6 p.m. and a later show at 8:30 p.m. — and doors will open 30 minutes prior to each. A limited number of $40 tickets are available for both concerts.
“As with all of our concerts, attendees are encouraged to visit one of Livingston County’s many fine restaurants before or after for dinner, or dessert,” said McClellan-Stone.
McClellan-Stone and husband Cal Stone’s company has been booking live music in Brighton for two decades, including Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival; Taste of Brighton; WAM Fest; Turn Up The AMP!; at numerous local venues like Brighton Bar & Grill and Single Barrel Social; and the upcoming jazz series at Ciao Amici’s, Kittens & Crooners.
“We have a long, wonderful relationship with the Brighton Chamber. We’ve worked together on countless events as well as special concerts like George Winston and Fernando Ortega.,” she said. “Pam McConeghy, the chamber’s president and CEO, is like us: passionate about live music and how it positively impacts economic development in communities.”
For those wondering what to wear to such a unique event like Bubbles & Bach, McClellan-Stone said anything from dressed-up denim to cocktail attire will be perfect.
