Calling all Supermans for world record attempt

The Hamburg Family Fun Fest is hoping to set a world record for a gathering of the largest number of people dressed as Superman.

The event — set for 1 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Manly Bennett Park, 10231 Merrill Road in Hamburg Township — will celebrate the real-life heroes who serve, protect, teach, heal, and inspire every day.

Participants are asked to dress as Superman, with a blue Superman-style shirt with a yellow “S,” and a red cape.

This is family-friendly event will celebrate and honor community heroes, and create an unforgettable moment, photo and media opportunity.
