The Brighton Varsity Gymnastics team was Regional Champions this past weekend at Regional 2 Competition held at Grand Ledge H.S. with a team score of 144.6, and the Howell Varsity Gymnastics qualified for team finals with a 3rd place team finish and a score of 140.225, missing second-place by only .1
Both teams travel to Canton Plymouth H.S. for MHSAA State Finals on Friday, March 10, and Individual Finals on Saturday March 11.
The top eight individual finalists in each event and top six all around in both divisions I and II advance to individual finals.

Both the Brighton and Howell communities have really come together to celebrate these girls’ accomplishments. In addition to all the help from both athletic directors, parents have organized team breakfast and dinner and arranged transportation so all girls from both teams can ride together to the finals. One local business has made a generous donation.
