Brighton Optimists euchre night benefits local organizations

Michigan Collaborative for Mindfulness in Education receives proceeds from September's event

The Brighton Optimist Club and Eternity Brewing Company recently presented checks to the Michigan Collaborative for Mindfulness in Education totaling $805 from the September 12th euchre benefit and Eternity Brewing Company’s beer promotion.

On the 2nd Tuesday each month at Eternity Brewing Company, the Brighton Optimist Club has a euchre night to benefit a different local charitable organization. One hundred percent of the money generated during the euchre nights is split between the designated charity, and the player prize pool.

The October tournament, which is set for Oct. 10, 2023, will benefit the Brighton Area Schools Education Foundation.

Since December 2021, Brighton Optimist #2ndTuesdayEuchre nights have generated over $17,000 in donations to local charities.
