In a week full of various activities and challenges, students at Brighton High School raised what has been reported to be in excess of $80,000.
The funds raised by the students benefit three local nonprofits.
• The Carl Nagy Foundation was established after BHS student Carl Nagy died by suicide. Its mission is to help bring emotional awareness to youth through education on how to handle anxiety, depressive episodes, hopelessness and helplessness.
