Brighton High School Musical Theatre is presenting “Anastasia the Musical” April 25 through May 5 at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts. The performance comes as the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts celebrates its 30th anniversary and Brighton Musical marks its 15th year.

This show includes over 90 talented on- and off-stage cast members from BHS under the direction of the Brighton Musical Creative Team: Josh Holowicki, Michelle Holowicki, Phil Johnson, Sonja Marquis, Bella Rabold, and Kristine Stuenkel.

Inspired by the beloved animated film, this stunning production follows Anya, a courageous young woman searching for her lost identity in the wake of the Russian Revolution. With the sinister Bolsheviks in pursuit and a daring conman by her side, she embarks on an unforgettable journey from the streets of St. Petersburg to the dazzling lights of Paris. Featuring a sweeping score, opulent costumes, and lavish sets that transport you from a crumbling imperial palace to the elegance of 1920s France, Anastasia is a feast for the senses. With soaring vocals, mesmerizing choreography, and a cast of extraordinary talent, this enchanting musical will leave you believing in destiny, love, and the power of dreams.

The Red Carpet Gala is an important fundraiser for the theatre program: tickets provide scholarships for students with financial needs and to support creative growth. The Gala Night Experience on April 26 includes a walk down the red carpet with cast members, pre-show photographs, reserved seating, exclusive intermission reception with refreshments, a meet-and-greet and behind-the-scenes tour with members of the cast, and a post-show soirée with the directors and producers.

Tickets are $17 for students; $22 for adults and seniors; and $65 for the Red Carpet Gala, and they are available now at BrightonMusical.com for the following G-rated performances at Brighton Center for the Performing Arts.
