It’s beginning to look a lot like downtown Brighton is going nuts for Brighton School of Ballet’s 36th presentation of The Nutcracker Ballet! For the next two weeks, shoppers at some of Brighton’s favorite businesses will be entered to win two tickets to The Nutcracker with the purchase of certain Nutcracker-themed items.

Participating businesses and qualifying products include the following:

2 Dandelions Bookshop: Nutcracker story book

Wallflower Mercantile (opening at the new location later this week!): Various Nutcracker-themed items

Whey Better Cookies: “The Naughty Mouse” Cookie

Culture Beer & Cheese: “Nice Nibbles for Nice Mice” cheese and cracker snack box

Buff City Soap: Sugar Plum Fairy Scrub

The contest will run through November 30, with a winner drawn from all entries that night. The winner will receive 2 tickets for the Saturday, December 3rd performance of The Nutcracker at 2pm at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts.

Individual tickets for both Saturday and Sunday performances are on sale now at www.brightonschoolofballet.com

And for more Nutcracker fun, 2 Dandelions Bookshop will be hosting Nutcracker Story Time on Saturday, November 19 at 11am with a special appearance and reading by the Sugar Plum Fairy. Following story time, the Sugar Plum Fairy will also stop by Buff City Soap.
