“Twelfth Night” is the 15th production for 16-year-old Nic Bishop, who plays Feste, a fool who is often the wisest person in the play.

He had been involved with drama and thought “Twelfth Night” sounded fun.

“So I decided to audition,” he said.

The son of Brent Bishop and Bridget Bishop, his sister, Becca Bishop, is his biggest inspiration. “She follows her dreams and is doing what she loves,” he said.

Bishop most recently appeared as Edmund in the Community Theatre of Howell’s production of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.”

Bishop enjoys the bonds he creates with the other actors in the show, and the friendships that form, and he looks forward to seeing the finished product and finally being able to “show all of our hard work to an audience for the first time.”

“The audience can expect to see a show that will surprise them with a whole range of emotions to feel, and a story you can get caught up in and relate to.”

The Howell High School’s Performing Arts Department will present William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17, as well as at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Howell High School Rod Bushey Performing Arts Center, 1200 W. Grand River Ave., Howell.

Advance sale tickets are $10 for students/seniors and $12 for adults. Tickets can be purchased in the Howell High School main office and at Schafer’s House of Music. The ticket cost will increase by $1 at the door.
