What do you hope audiences will take away from this production?

I hope the audience takes away that there are ups and downs to love and relationships, and that they’re a learning experience. Plus you never know what individuals or couples are going through behind closed doors.

What extracurriculars and/or clubs are you involved with in addition to Hartland Drama Club?

Outside of drama I am in chamber choir, treble chorus, color guard, jazz band, and I play piano for a local church.

What will you remember most about your experience with this show?

In my experience with “Almost, Maine,” I will mainly remember all the hard work everyone has put into this show and the message of this show as well! Also, with this show being my first student director project, it will always have a special place in my heart.

What do you think is the universal meaning behind this show?

I think the universal meaning is that “love actually is all around you,” in many different forms! Relationships may bring heartbreak or pure happiness, but in the end it is all worth it for love.
