1. How did you get involved with the production?
I had actually read “A Midsummers Nights Dream” a few years ago just for fun, and absolutely fell in love with the play and the character of Helena. As soon as Amanda Malo told us that’s what she decided to do this year, I knew I was going to audition.

2. Have you been in any other theatrical productions?
This is my 17th production on stage overall, and my 4th on stage with the high school. Most recently I performed in the Forbidden Cabaret last spring. I’ve also done a bit behind the scenes, most notably assistant directing “The Dining Room: last winter.

3. What do you most enjoy about being part of the production?
I really enjoy getting close with everyone in the cast. So many of my best friends are also in the show, so it’s been amazing to share the stage with all of them, and get to know the people who I’ve never met before.

4. Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why?
Our director, Malo, has always been someone I’ve looked up to throughout high school. She always pushes me to do my best and has really helped me grow my confidence.

5. What’s your favorite part of the experience of being in the production?
I’ve wanted to play the role of Helena for a couple years now, so I was thrilled when I found out I was cast as her. Getting to play one of my dream roles has been so surreal and I love every second of it.

6. What can audience members expect when they see the show?
So much. But overall, a romantic, funny, magical, and beautiful story.
