Sharing is caring!

The third-annual 9/11 Never Forget 5K Trail Run/Walk is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Fillmore County Park, 7075 McClements Road in Brighton.

The event, presented by Livingston County Veteran Services and Howell Area Parks and Recreation Authority, remembers those who lost their lives on 9/11, as well as military veterans and first responders who went into harm’s way as a result of the attack.

The trail is unpaved and not stroller-friendly. No canines are allowed except for service dogs.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Livingston County Veteran Services. All participants will receive a T-shirt and finisher medal.
