50,000 Diapers

Sharing is caring!

Last year in Livingston County, families in need received 50,000 diapers from local organizations, because people in this county are generous and share with each other. This month The Great Start Livingston Parent Coalition, a group of volunteer parents, will be hosting the 3rd annual county-wide diaper drive. Last year the diaper drive collected over 25,000 diapers.

As economic struggles continue locally there has been an increase in the number of families lacking basic needs and relying on state assistance to provide for their families. Many agencies like the Pregnancy Help ClinicLove Inc. and the Family Resource Center are also struggling in the economic downturn. In response, Great Start Livingston has partnered with Gleaners and Love, Inc. to hold a community wide diaper drive throughout the month of April.

If you are in need of diapers, contact Love INC, (517)552-3620.

Here are a list of businesses and other organizations that are serving as collection points.
