Dav Pilkey, the creative genius behind the bestselling Dog Man, Cat Kid Comic Club, and Captain Underpants series is coming to Michigan on his Celebrating Heroes Around the World International Tour. Michigan is one of only 8 stops on his book tour in celebration of his recent release of “Dog Man: Big Jim Begins” and the upcoming release of the Dog Man movie on Jan. 31.
2 Dandelions Bookshop in downtown Brighton and The Caboose: Sidetrack Bookshop for Kids (Royal Oak, MI) are collaborating on this Supa Epic event at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Monday, Feb. 17. Tickets sold out for the 6 p.m. event, but another event has been added at noon.
Tickets are on sale now from the Royal Oak Music Theatre website. Each attendee will meet Dav Pilkey and receive a signed copy of “Dog Man: Big Jim” and exclusive giveaways. The event will also include a live drawing demonstration by Dav Pilkey, pictures with Dog Man and more.
