A recent study of spending by Americans on OnlyFans content details where viewers are located and how much they’re spending to view the adult-only content.
For those unfamiliar with OnlyFans, it is a British subscription-based platform for mostly adult entertainers who place their content behind a paywall. The site was part of the plot of “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” the popular 2026 Apple TV series starring Elle Fanning, Nick Offerman, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Greg Kinnear.
The study by OnlyGuider, a search engine and directory of OnlyFans creators, shows that within the U.S., spending on OnlyFans in 2025 was at about $2.63 billion a year, with an average spend of $77,334 per 10,000 residents.
Michiganians spent $82 million on OnlyFans subscriptions last year, making it No. 9 in the nation for total dollars spent. When the numbers are broken down more, Michigan ranks No. 20 for OnlyFans spending per 10K residents at $80,960.
And while Livingston is the wealthiest county in Michigan, it is nearly at the bottom for OnlyFans spending, ranking second-to-last in the state. The total spend of Livingston County in 2025 was $973,000, with a per capita spending of $52,438 for 10K residents.
That per capita per 10K residents in Livingston County is 35% lower than the state’s number.
For comparison, the biggest spending per 10K in Michigan is Wexford County, in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan, with Cadillac as its seat. Wexford County clocks in at $106,876 annually per 10K residents, more than twice that of Livingston County.
Nationally, Livingston County ranks No. 468 in OnlyFans spending in total while clocking in at No. 2,861 per 10K residents.
