Silverstone Jewelers has a new location in downtown Howell.

The jewelry store recently moved across the street and down a block east to its new location at 113 E. Grand River Ave. As Silverstone nears its fifth year of operations, this move allows the store to expand physically and increase its merchandise offerings.

“Our expanded space allows for multiple customers to be served simultaneously, yet receive private and individualized attention,” said Kallie Carver, who owns the store.

Thanks to the increased size of the store, Silverstone Jewelers plans to begin selling new items such as giftware and bridal registry merchandise later in 2019.

“I never felt comfortable in jewelry stores until Silverstone Jewelers opened,” said Kevin McCarthy, who is an accountant in downtown Howell. “The first thing that captured my attention is how warm, open, and genuine Kallie Carver is. What really sets her apart is the time and energy she invests in every customer. As a fellow local business owner, I also see how Kallie invests in our community.  She is involved in and contributes to numerous community and charitable events. We are truly fortunate to have Silverstone Jewelers and owner Kallie Carver in downtown Howell.”

Visitors of the store are always invited to have a cup of coffee, pet Tater the pug, or visit with baby Maverick while they wait for their free jewelry cleaning.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
