Sagano Bistro & Steakhouse, a mainstay of downtown Brighton at 312 W. Main St., is closing its doors on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022.
The decision to close was difficult, the restaurant’s ownership explained in a Jan. 19 Facebook post.
“Parting with this exceptional community was not a decision lightly made,” the statement read, “but unfortunately necessary.”
No other reason was given for the quick closure.
The message went on to thank the community for its support.
“Please know Sagano is incredibly humbled by the manner this community embraced us by allowing us to be a part of your most significant life experiences … Sagano’s successes are directly attributable to this special community and we are forever grateful.”
