Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Scarlett

Looking to make some funny cat videos to post on your Instagram? Then Scarlett is your girl!

Scarlett is a playful and silly 2-year-old tabby. Even though she has had kittens of her own (who have all been adopted), she still looks and acts like a kitten herself with her petite frame and lighthearted nature.

Scarlett is adventurous but loves a good snuggle too so she would be an ideal indoor and outdoor cat. She likes the company of other cats, is spayed, and up to date on her medical. Her adoption fee is $25.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Check out Scarlett and other animals available for adoption at or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, please contact the shelter.

The Livingston County Animal Shelter is currently doing business via appointment and with limited hours. The shelter is open for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call (517) 546-2154, press “0” to schedule your appointment.

Sharing is caring!

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
