Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Pearl

Start

Pearl is all ears waiting to hear the footsteps of her new family come through the door.

Pearl is truly a gem, just like her name. She is a 10-month old tan and white Labrador Retriever mix with beautiful hazel eyes trimmed in black.

She has a sweet disposition and enjoys the company of other dogs. Pearl is always curious about her outdoor surroundings and is ready to begin her new life.

Thank you to all who came out and supported the Bissell Pet Foundation Empty the Shelter Event. Over the three-day event, 29 pets found new homes! If you plan on adopting a pet too, then make sure to head to Pet Parents for everything that your new family will need.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Check out Pearl and other animals available for adoption at  http://www.livgov.com/animalshelter, or call (517) 546-2154 for more information.

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
