Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Misty

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Meet Misty! This young lady is 2 years old and a very calm and loving cat. She came in as a stray and was a wonderful mother to her four kittens. Now it is her turn to find a forever home.

Misty was recently in a foster home and really came out of her shell. She loves to play with toys that move or wiggle, but also enjoys a good ole’ wad of paper to was carry around. She uses a sisal rope post for clawing and climbing. When done playing, she likes to snuggle up on a blanket next to her human for a nap.

Misty loves her food, preferably a canned pate — no chunky food please! But don’t take too long getting her food ready. If you do, Misty will encourage you with polite little chirps to get a move on. As a special treat, Misty also likes some small bites of cooked chicken or tidbits that have been warmed in the microwave.

Misty is spayed, up-to-date on medical, and ready to find her new family.
