Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Mavis

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Oh, Mavis! This sweet-faced 3-year old girl is ready to get the heck out of the shelter and into a calm and loving home of her own. Mavis is a petite little lady with black silky fur. She has a mellow personality and likes spending time bird watching and seeking out human attention. She loves a good cuddle! She is still trying to adjust to the shelter life but likes her space from the other cats.

Mavis is FIV positive but don’t let that stop you from adopting. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite wound. It can’t be transmitted to humans. Please read up on it. FIV positive cats live long, happy, and healthy lives.

Mavis is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on medical. So who is ready to be this beautiful girl’s hero? You won’t regret it!

Note that the shelter will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021, in observance of Memorial Day.
