Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Maizey

1 min read

Maizey is a beautiful 1-year-old little lady who is at a crossroads in her young life and is ready to find her new family. Sugar and spice, that’s our Maizey! She can be sweet as pie when being petted and then her spicy nature kicks in and… swat! She has done much better after relaxing in a foster home but still shows her trademark sassiness here and there.

Maizey is OK with other cats but prefers they keep their distance since she prefers to be the main star. If you are looking for an independent leading lady in your life who craves love and attention on her own terms, then Maizey is your girl! She is spayed, up-to-date on medical, and micro-chipped.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Check out Maizey and other animals available for adoptionat or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, contact the shelter, or come by for a visit.

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
