Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Goose

Duck… duck… goose! Only this Goose says woof woof. Come on down to the shelter to meet this sweet boy who just arrived from Detroit Animal Care and Control (DACC).

Goose is a 10-month old Boxer-Pit Bull-Terrier mix who is very friendly and attentive. This little lover could spend a whole day snuggling up on your lap and getting cuddles. Goose can be a little shy with new experiences, but is curious and wants to investigate. He enjoys other dogs but we are not sure how he reacts to cats.

Goose is neutered, up-to-date on medical, microchipped, and licensed. All he needs now, is a new family.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Check out Goose and all of the other animals available for adoption at or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, please contact the shelter, or come by for a visit.

Sharing is caring!

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
