Looking for a new furry, purry friend? Meet Felix!

Felix is a handsome 5-year old ,black-and-white boy with the classic green eyes and white whiskers of a tuxedo cat. He has a “tuxitude” that won’t disappoint!

Felix is the cat room greeter at the shelter and he loves attention. He is very friendly, not only with people but with other cats too. It is said that tuxedo cats are quite intelligent and very affectionate. That must be why Beethoven, Shakespeare, and Sir Isaac Newton all had one. Don’t miss your chance — come down and meet Felix today!

Felix is neutered, up-to-date on medical, and micro-chipped.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Stop by to visit Felix and other animals available for adoption at or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, contact the shelter, or come by for a visit.

Sharing is caring!

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
