Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Delta Dawn

Meet sweet Delta Dawn!

Delta Dawn is 7 years old and ready to find her new home where she can relax, love, and enjoy the rest of her life. She was surrendered by her previous owners due to them having to work more hours and they didn’t feel it was fair to Delta Dawn to leave her alone all day.

Delta Dawn is an amazing girl! She is a fabulous leash walker and loves the small pleasure of rolling on her back in the grass to enjoy a lovely summer day. She has such good manners and takes treats likes a doll. After a long day, she likes to wind down by snuggling in her blanket. She enjoys other dogs and is just an all-around gem. Don’t miss out on your chance to adopt this adorable loving girl. Delta Dawn is 55 pounds, spayed, and up to date on medical.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Stop by to visit Delta Dawn and other animals available for adoption at http://www.livgov.com/animalshelter or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, contact the shelter, or come by for a visit.

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
